Lucy Wang was born in Cambridge UK and grew up in Taiwan. She works as a designer at SpectorGroup Architects in New York City.
Lucy seeks to create furniture design experiences that consider the needs of the human body. She finds inspiration from moments of her daily routine—from practicing yoga to shopping at a farmers market to observing moss and rocks in a forest. She considers design work as the backdrop for the rituals of life.
In 2019, she earned her Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. She also volunteered for the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) as the Student Representative to the Board of New York Metro Chapter. For her undergraduate degree, Lucy studied in Neuroscience and Behaviorial Biology at Emory University.
